Felipe Vannucchi de Camargo

Doutor em Engenharia de Materiais pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) em co-tutela com a Università di Bologna (UNIBO, Itália), desenvolveu tese sobre materiais compósitos termoplásticos auto-reforçados reciclados dentro da área de mecânica dos sólidos. Bacharel em Engenharia Mecânica Naval pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG) em co-tutela com a University of British Columbia (UBC, Canadá) com bolsa integral, desenvolveu pesquisa na área de fadiga para fibras poliméricas. Trabalhou como Research Fellow na Itália em projeto da União Européia lidando com materiais compósitos para carros elétricos movidos à energia solar. No Instituto Hercílio Randon, trabalhou com materiais compósitos para aplicações automobilísticas. Atualmente, atua como Pesquisador-Chefe da Unidade EMBRAPII Instituto SENAI de Inovação em Engenharia de Polímeros.

PhD in Materials Engineering by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in co-tutorship with the Università di Bologna (UNIBO, Italy), developed his thesis on self-reinforced and recycled thermoplastic composite materials within the area of solid mechanics. B.Eng. in Naval Mechanical Engineering by the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) in co-tutorship with the University of British Columbia (UBC, Canada) on a full-scholarship, developed his capstone project on fatigue of polymeric fibers. Worked as a Research Fellow in Italy on a European Union project dealing with composite materials for solar powered electric cars. At Instituto Hercílio Randon, worked with composite materials for automotive applications. Currently, is the Chief Researcher at the EMBRAPII unit SENAI Institute of Innovation in Polymer Engineering.
