Angela Cristina da Fonseca de Oliveira

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine (2016), Master's Degree in Animal Science (2018) and PhD in Health, Technology and Integrated Animal Production (2022) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná - PUCPR . Participated in the Scientific Initiation Scholarship Program, from 2013 to 2016, with emphasis on management and nutrition of pigs. She was a scholarship student in the PIBIC Master - Combined Degree Program and developed her master's and doctoral project at the Institut d'investigació de la Generalitat de Catalunya - Spain, with emphasis on behavior and nutrition of pigs and welfare in the growth and finishing phases, under the guidance of Dr. Leandro Batista Costa (PUCPR - BR) and Dr. Antoni Dalmau Bueno (IRTA - ES). Currently working at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), as a Veterinarian in the Biological Sciences Sector (SCB) and Technical Coordinator of the Central Animal Facility Complex. She has experience in management of rodent facilities for the purpose of teaching and research.

Possui graduação em Medicina Veterinária (2016), Mestrado em Ciência Animal (2018) e Doutorado em Saúde, Tecnologia e Produção Animal Integrada (2022) pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná - PUCPR . Participou do Programa de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica, no período de 2013 a 2016, com ênfase em manejo e nutrição de suínos. Foi bolsista no Programa PIBIC Master - Combined Degree e desenvolveu seu projeto de mestrado e doutorado no Institut d'investigació de la Generalitat de Catalunya - Espanha, com enfase em comportamento e nutrição de suínos e bem-estar nas fases de crescimento e terminação, sob orientação do Dr. Leandro Batista Costa (PUCPR - BR) e Dr. Antoni Dalmau Bueno (IRTA - ES). Atualmente é servidora na Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), atuando como Médica Veterinária no Setor de Ciências Biológicas (SCB) e Coordenadora Técnica do Complexo Biotério Central. Possui experiência em manejo e gestão de instalações para roedores com a finalidade de ensino e pesquisa.
