Camila Acosta Camargo

Camila Acosta Camargo holds a master's degree in Communication Sciences by University of São Paulo and a bachelor's degree in Public Relations from the same institution. She?s a member of the Communication and Work Research Center (CPCT-USP), in which collaborates for studies on the work of journalists in alternative media. Developed her master's thesis focused on communication of the third sector, approved with distinction. During graduation, got a scholarship for the Teaching with Research Program of Scientific Initiation in the studies of the book market, developing a map of the existing bookstores in São Paulo?s downtown. Has experience in communications for social projects in NGOs and owns a consulting firm called Eixo Social.

Doutoranda em Ciências da Comunicação pela Universidade de São Paulo, pesquisadora visitante na East Anglia University com bolsa CAPES/Print. Mestre em Ciências da Comunicação e bacharel em Relações Públicas pela mesma instituição. Professora colaboradora do lato sensu em Gestão Integrada da Comunicação Digital para Ambientes Corporativos (ECA-USP) e em Comunicação Organizacional e Relações Públicas (Cásper Líbero). Integra o Centro de Pesquisa em Comunicação e Trabalho, onde participa de estudos sobre o trabalho de jornalistas na mídia alternativa.
