Alexandre Felipe Raimundo Missassi

Degree in Biological Sciences (2010) from the Methodist University of Piracicaba; Specialization in Animal Biology (2012) from the Butantan Institute at the Alphonse Richard Hoge Herpetological Collection; Master's Degree in Zoology (2014) from the Emílio Goeldi Museum of Pará / Federal University of Pará. A PCI-DC internship (2014-2015) at the Osvaldo Rodrigues da Cunha Herpetological Collection, he completed his Ph.D. course in Biodiversity and Evolution (2019) at the Emílio Goeldi Museum of Pará, with a research fellowship abroad at the Division of Reptile and Amphibian Collections (2017) of the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institut, United States. His main interest focuses on Biogeography, Evolution, Systematics and Taxonomy.

Graduação em Ciências Biológicas (2010) pela Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba; Especialização em Biologia Animal (2012) pelo Instituto Butantan junto à Coleção Herpetológica Alphonse Richard Hoge; Mestrado em Zoologia (2014) pelo convênio Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi / Universidade Federal do Pará. Bolsista PCI-DC (2014-2015) junto à Coleção Herpetológica Osvaldo Rodrigues da Cunha, concluiu Doutorado em Biodiversidade e Evolução (2019) pelo Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi, com estágio de pesquisa no exterior realizado junto à Divisão de Coleções de Répteis e Anfíbios (2017) do National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institut, Estados Unidos. Seu principal interesse norteia temáticas relativas à Biogeografia, Evolução, Sistemática e Taxonomia.
