Celio Marcio Soares Ferreira

He is a Blockchain Researcher, a wireless network specialist, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UFOP (Federal University of Ouro Preto) - DECOM (Computer Department). He is a founder of LinuxPlace (www.linuxplace.com.br), a Brazilian multi-cloud consulting company, where he works as Director of Research and Development. He contributes to research in Blockchain, IoT, Smart Cities, and low-power Wireless networks at the IMOBILIS UFOP DECOM laboratory. He is an evangelist and disseminator of technologies based on open source and cloud computing adoption. Currently works in research and development of architectures for migration to Cloud Computing. His investigations are mainly composed of the following themes: Blockchain, Smart Cities, IoT, and Ethereum.

É P.h.D em Ciência da Computação pela UFOP (Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto) - DECOM (Departamemto de Computação). É sócio fundador da LinuxPlace (www.linuxplace.com.br), onde atua até o momento como Diretor de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento. Desenvolvedor de API Web e especialista em redes Wireless. Contribui em pesquisas ligadas a Blockchain , IoT e redes Wireless de baixa potência no laboratório IMOBILIS UFOP DECOM. Atua como evangelizador e divulgador de tecnologias baseadas em software livre e adoção de cloud computing. Atualmente atua em pesquisa e desenvolvimento de arquiteturas para migração para Cloud Computing. Suas pesquisas são compostas principalmente nos seguintes temas: Blockchain, Smart Cities, IoT, Ethereum.
