Professor, jornalista, poeta. Formado em Comunicação Social, com habilitação em Jornalismo (2007), Mestre em Teoria da Literatura (2011) e Doutor em Teoria da Literatura (2016), todas as titulações pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco - UFPE. Foi professor de jornalismo do departamento de Comunicação Social da Universidade Tiradentes (2016/2019). Foi professor substituto de literatura do departamento de Letras Vernáculas da Universidade Federal de Sergipe (2016/2018). Publicou os livros de crítica Deixe a visão chegar: a poética xamânica de Roberto Piva (2012), Breve Breu - escritos sobre literatura cinema (2014) e os livros de poemas Vupa (2013), projeto em parceria com a editora Livrinho de Papel Finíssimo e Watsu (2016), pela Companhia Editora de Pernambuco, dentro da premiação do III Prêmio Pernambuco de Literatura. José Juva é membro fundador do coletivo casa de marimbondo (com o qual foi premiado em eventos de arte contemporânea pelos trabalhos de artes visuais A Porta, Da pós-utopia, A máquina de escrever azul, entre outros). Premiado com bolsas de incentivo à formação pelo Centro de Formação em Artes Visuais (CFAV) pelas oficinas A imagem, a verdade e outros bichos e Nomes Múltiplos: bando de artistas.
Professor, journalist, poet. He published the critical books Let the vision come: the shamanic poetry of Roberto Piva (2012), Pitch Dark Brief - writings about literature cinema (2014) and the books of poems Vupa (2013), project in partnership with the publishing company Little Book Of Finest Paper and Watsu (2016), by Publishing Company of Pernambuco, within the award of the III Pernambuco Literature Prize. José Juva is a founding member of the collective marimbondo house (with which he was awarded in contemporary art events for the works of visual arts The Door, Post-utopia, The blue typewriter, among others). Awarded with grants to encourage training by the Center for Training in Visual Arts (CFAV) workshops by The image, the truth and other animals and Multiple Names: band of artists.
