PhD Studant at UNIFESP (2021). Biomedical scientist with over 10 years of experience in Radiology, performing nuclear medicine, mammography, densitometry and computed tomography scans. During this time, Katherine developed great ability in solving-problems, project management, medical image analysis, college teacher, and scientific research. Worked in mammography and densitometry fields from 2016 onward, conducted projects that straighten out sustainability, settled up automatic report in GE densitometer software, boosted digital transformation, and reduced patient anxiety through environment humanization. Currently, she leads a strategic program in mammography to enhance diagnosis excellence. Focused on trustworthy diagnosis, Katherine contributes to company by her strong background in Pathology, Physiology, Cell Biology, and medical communication. Katherine believes that interpersonal connection is relevant to success, she led and trained teams to improve the detection of lesions in mammography images. These features speeded up critical report release, promoted precise exam analysis, and team gratitude due to learning. Katherine published a paper entitled ??Low-Level Laser Therapy Modulates Demyelination in Mice?? in the Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology. She also gave lectures and worked as Radiology teacher in college (graduation and post-graduation courses). She considers that technology and creativity are the hallmarks for enterprise innovation and patient wellbeing. Continuously expanding her skills in Artificial Intelligence, Lean culture, agile methodology, communication, Microsoft Office, and leadership. Katherine has mild hearing loss in both years, diagnosed during childhood, and wears hearing-aid. This condition taught her that ??however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at??, according to Stephen Hawking. She hopes to make impact in empowering teams, and taking innovation all over the world. Skills: project management related to health, class teaching, communication, microscopy, immunohistochemistry, photobiomodulation research, Lean, patient care, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Densitometry, Computed Tomography.
