Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering by Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and Doctor in Materials Science and Engineering by Universidade Federal de Sao Carlos (UFSCar). Metallurgical and Materials engineer and master in Materials Science and Engineering by State University of North Fluminense - UENF (Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ, Brazil) in the field of polymers and composites materials with the development of a novel nanoparticlulated biocomposite with polymer matriz on the formulation. Currently working as a research associate at Case Western Reserve University - CWRU (Cleveland, OH, USA). Working on the field of polymer processing (extrusion process), polymer nanocomposites, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), infrared spectroscopy and IR spectral data treatment. Shipbuilding and Welding Engineering specialist by Federal Institute Fluminense - IFF (Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ, Brazil).
