Fabio Kurt Schneider received the B.S. in Electrical Engineering (1989) and the M. Sc. In Biomedical Engineering (1995), both from Federal University of Technology - Parana (UTFPR), Brazil. He received his Ph.D. from University of Washington (2006) in Electrical Engineering working on Biomedical Engineering research. Since 1995 he has been with UTFPR at the Academic Department of Electronics. His research interests are biomedical signal and image processing, ultrasound imaging, biosensor and bioinstrumentation for decentralized usage and digital systems design, polimer-based sensors.
