Prof. Dr. Fábio Kurt Schneider

Fabio Kurt Schneider received the B.S. in Electrical Engineering (1989) and the M. Sc. In Biomedical Engineering (1995), both from Federal University of Technology - Parana (UTFPR), Brazil. He received his Ph.D. from University of Washington (2006) in Electrical Engineering working on Biomedical Engineering research. Since 1995 he has been with UTFPR at the Academic Department of Electronics. His research interests are biomedical signal and image processing, ultrasound imaging, biosensor and bioinstrumentation for decentralized usage and digital systems design, polimer-based sensors.

graduate at Engenharia Industrial Elétrica Ênfase Em Eletrônic from Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (1989), master's at Electric Engineering from Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (1995) and ph.d. at Electrical Engineering from University of Washington (2006). Has experience in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on Processing of Biological Signals, acting on the following subjects: instrumentação biomédica, vhdl, leite, desenvolvimento de sistemas digitais and dtmf.
