Currently Associate Professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) and effective member of the Graduate Program in Nursing (PPGEnf/UFSM), Leader of the research group of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq): Multidisciplinary research laboratory in Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (LAPICS), coordinator of the LAPICS at UFSM, Member of the ABRASCO Working Group - Medical Rationalities and Integrative and Complementary Practices and Reikian level III. Experience in Nursing with an emphasis on Integrative Therapies: Medicinal Plants and Reiki, these being the main lines of research. She also works in Nursing in the Social and Cultural Context and in Comprehensive Care for People's Health.
