Licenciada e Bacharel em Educação Física pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.Integra o Experimental Anthropology Lab na University of Connecticut, os grupos de pesquisa do CNPq Caparaó- Grupo de Estudos sobre Natureza, GPASE- Grupo de Pesquisa em Atividade Física, Saúde e Envelhecimento, LAPES - Laboratório de Pesquisas Pedagógicas e Socioculturais em Educação Física, LUCE -"Ludicidade, Cultura e Educação", OTIUM - Lazer, Brasil América Latina e Pensando a Educação Física Escolar. Coordenadora do Projeto de Extensão interinstitucional e Canal do Youtube "Conexão Educação Física".Pesquisadora de atividades físicas e esportivas no tempo de lazer de praticantes e espectadores e suas múltiplas interfaces com a promoção da saúde, o espaço e a percepção, as políticas públicas e a sustentabilidade local, a educação. Investiga a interferência da sincronia e coordenação interpessoal no estabelecimento de conexões sociais e afiliação. Ph.D in Psychology at the University of Connecticut-CT-US (2019) and M.A. in Leisure (interdisciplinary area Leisure, Culture, and Education) at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais-MG-BRAZIL (2009). Major degrees in Physical Education from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais- Teacher Certification (2006) and Bachelor (2010). Researcher of leisure-time sports and physical activities of practitioners and spectators, investigates the interference of syncrony and interpersonal coordination in fostering social bonding and affiliation. Interested in the usage of social networks and technology to understand leisure of different social groups.Was a member of the Center for the Ecological Study of Perception and Action (CESPA) between 2014-2019 and of the Experimental Anthropology Lab since 2016, both at the University of Connecticut-CT-US. Was physical education teacher at Belo Horizonte Government in the middle school level (2011-2014) and at Colégio Técnico da UFMG in the high school level (2009-2010). Was professor at Universidade Estácio de Sá (2009-2014) teaching courses in Physical Education, Tourism, and Event Management majors.
