Karita Almeida Silva

Master's degree in Plant Production from the Graduate Program in Agronomy (Plant Production) of the São Paulo State University, UNESP/FCAV, Jaboticabal Campus, in the area of Agrometeorological Modeling. Currently a PhD student in Agronomy (Plant Production), with experience in the areas of Agronomy and Modeling, with emphasis on Agrometeorology and Climatology, working on the following topics: Agrometeorological Modeling, Water Balance, Evapotranspiration, Climate Risk, Climate Classification, Enso - El Niño Southern Oscillation and Coffee Production. She is part of the GAS - Group of Agrometeorological Studies. Graduated in Agronomic Engineering from the Instituto Federal do Triângulo Mineiro - Uberaba campus, with experience in the area of phytotechnology and irrigation. Throughout her graduation, she was part of the PET group (Tutorial Education Program), in which she developed the areas of research, teaching, extension, and people management. Worked in the R&D area at BP Bunge Bionergia, focusing on the development of researches in the areas of weeds and crop quality.

Mestra em Produção Vegetal pelo Programa de Pós Graduação em Agronomia (Produção Vegetal) da Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio Mesquita Filho, UNESP/FCAV, Campus de Jaboticabal, na área de Modelagem Agrometeorológica. Atualmente, doutoranda em Agronomia (Produção Vegetal), com experiência nas áreas de Agronomia e Modelagem, com ênfase em Agrometeorologia e Climatologia, atuando nos seguintes temas: Modelagem Agrometeorológica, Balanço Hídrico, Evapotranspiração, Risco Climático, Classificação Climática, Enso-El Niño Oscilação Sul e Cafeicultura. Faz parte do grupo GAS - Group of Agrometeorological Studies. Graduada em Engenharia Agronômica pelo Instituto Federal do Triângulo Mineiro - câmpus Uberaba, com experiência na área de fitotecnia e irrigação. Fez parte, durante toda sua graduação, do grupo PET (Programa de Educação Tutorial), no qual desenvolveu as áreas de pesquisa, ensino, extensão e gestão de pessoas. Trabalhou na área de P&D na BP Bunge Bionergia, com foco no desenvolvimento de pesquisas nas áreas de plantas daninhas e qualidade de colheita.
