John Alexander Gomez Sanchez

I am born in Manizales (Colombia) on December 20, 1973. Electrical Engineer at the National University of Colombia in 1996, PhD on Biological Sciences at the National University of Tucuman (Argentina) in 2017. I am multi-faceted scientist with more than nine years working research, development, design and construction electronic devices for measuring physical variables, including research in electrical properties of chemicals and biological tissues, analysis of the interaction of EMF with the environment, bacterial quantification in bioremediation processes and design of cathodic protection systems to prevent corrosion. Also, I had experience in power and transmission system operation in oil fields including simulation and analysis of the incidence of lightning on structures using online monitoring, industrial automation with implementation of computer-based industrial automation and PLC, especially in potable water treatment plants. I begin postdoctoral studies in biosensors at the State University of Santa Catarina in 2018.
