Doutora em Ciências Marinhas Tropicais pelo Instituto de Ciências do Mar da Universidade Federal do Ceará e também doutora em Science de l'Univers no Institut Méditerranéen d'Océanologie da Université de Toulon (UTLN-França), por meio de uma convenção de cotutela entre essas duas instituições. Meu projeto de doutorado foi intitulado "Geochemistry Of Trace Metals And Organic Matter In Equatorial Estuaries Of Northeastern Brazil", com bolsa CAPES/Print.Ao longo de minha carreira acadêmica, realizei dois estágios de Pós-doutorado, sendo um em 2022 na Universidade Federal do Ceará, como bolsista da FUNCAP, e outro em 2023 na Université de Toulon, com apoio da bolsa CAPES/COFECUB. Trabalho na área de oceanografia química e suas subáreas há mais de 10 anos, com destaque para os ciclos biogeoquímicos de nutrientes, a contaminação por metais traços e a geoquímica da matéria orgânica. Sou especialista na influência da matéria orgânica como carreador geoquímico de contaminantes de interesse ambiental, especialmente os metais traços, em ambientes costeiros e adjacentes.Tive a oportunidade de atuar como professora temporária no programa de pós-graduação em Mer et Science da Université de Toulon (França) entre 2020 e 2021.Minha trajetória acadêmica teve início com a graduação e o mestrado em Oceanografia pela Universidade Federal do Maranhão (UFMA). Durante a graduação, ampliei meus horizontes acadêmicos com um intercâmbio internacional em 2013, na University of Maine (EUA), através do programa Ciências sem Fronteiras-CAPES. Adicionalmente, tive a oportunidade de estagiar no Marine Microbial Ecology Lab do Dauphin Island Sea Lab (EUA), por meio do programa Northern Gulf Institute do National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).Conto com uma vasta experiência, totalizando mais de 200 horas de atividades embarcadas ao longo de minha carreira acadêmica.

I hold a Ph.D. in Tropical Marine Sciences from the Institute of Marine Sciences at the Federal University of Ceará, and I also earned a Ph.D. in Science de l'Univers from the Institut Méditerranéen d'Océanologie at the University of Toulon (UTLN-France) through a cotutelle agreement between these two institutions. My doctoral research was titled "Geochemistry Of Trace Metals And Organic Matter In Equatorial Estuaries Of Northeastern Brazil," with funding from CAPES/Print.Throughout my academic career, I have undertaken two Postdoctoral Fellowships, one in 2022 at the Federal University of Ceará, supported by FUNCAP, and another in 2023 at the University of Toulon, with the assistance of a CAPES/COFECUB fellowship. I have been working in the field of chemical oceanography and its subfields for over 10 years, with a focus on biogeochemical nutrient cycles, trace metal contamination, and the geochemistry of organic matter. I am an expert in understanding the role of organic matter as a geochemical carrier of environmentally relevant contaminants, especially trace metals, in coastal and adjacent environments.I had the opportunity to serve as a temporary professor in the Mer et Science graduate program at the University of Toulon (France) between 2020 and 2021.My academic journey began with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Oceanography from the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA). During my undergraduate studies, I broadened my academic horizons through an international exchange program in 2013 at the University of Maine (USA), sponsored by the Science Without Borders-CAPES program. Additionally, I had the privilege of interning at the Marine Microbial Ecology Lab at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab (USA) through the Northern Gulf Institute program of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).I bring extensive experience to my academic career, with a cumulative total of over 200 hours of hands-on fieldwork and research.
