Possui graduação em Odontologia pela Universidade Federal do Piauí e Graduação em Direito pelo Centro de Ensino Unificado de Teresina, mestrado em Ciência da Informação pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais e doutorado e pós-doutorado em Biologia Celular pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Atualmente é professora efetiva da Universidade Federal do Piauí, atuando nas áreas de Histologia e Embriologia Humana (Geral e Bucal).
She holds a degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Piauí and a degree in Law from the Unified University Center of Teresina, a master's degree in Information Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and a doctorate and postdoctoral degree in Cell Biology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. She is currently an effective professor at the Federal University of Piauí, working in the areas of Histology and Human Embryology (General and Oral).
