Mário Foganholi Fernandes

A finalizar o doutorado em Física na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). É mestre em Física pela mesma instituição (2016) e graduado em Física pela Universidade de São Paulo (2014).Teve sua formação complementada por intercâmbio internacional em 2012 na Case Western Reserve University (EUA) pelo programa de graduação sanduíche Ciência sem Fronteiras. Durante o doutorado, realizou visita técnica na Universidade Nicolaus Copernicus (Polônia, 2018). Tem interesse nas áreas de Óptica, Informação e Computação Quântica, e Inteligência Artificial. Atualmente trabalha como Engenheiro de Machine Learning no setor privado.

Currently finishing a PhD. degree in the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Holds a M.S. degree by the same institution and a B.S. degree from the University of São Paulo (2014). Had his formation complemented by an international exchange in 2012, staying at Case Western Reserve University through the Science without Borders program. During the PhD, received an internship in the Nicolaus Copernicus University (Poland, 2018). Has interests in the areas of Optics, Quantum Information and Computation, and Artificial Intelligence. Currently works as Machine Learning Engineer in the private sector.
