Gustavo Antonio Raimondi

I am a gay, white, cisgender, married, childless man. I graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2012), Medical Residency in Family and Community Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2015), Master in Health Sciences from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2016) and Specialization in Education of Health Professionals Health by the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER®) (2017), with Improvement in Health Equity and Social Justice as TUFH Fellow (2022). I had a PhD in Public Health (sub-area Social Sciences in Health) from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with a Visiting Scholar period at the University of Massachusetts (UMASS) in the United States. I was a Visiting Scholar ("Sandwich Doctoral Scholar" 2018/2019) by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). I am co-founder and co-leader of the "Performing Autoetnography - Bodies and Decolonialities in Health (AP-CODEs)" group, linked to CNPq and UNICAMP. I am co-founder and co-leader of the (In) Visible Populations and Diversities Working Group of the Brazilian Medical Education Association (ABEM). I am a member of the LGBTI+ Population Health Working Group of the Brazilian Association of Collective Health (ABRASCO). I am the Director of Regional Minas Gerais at ABEM (2020-2022). I am the coordinator of the Department of Public Health (DESCO) of the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Uberlândia (2021-2023). I am the legal representative / vice director of the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Uberlândia (2021-2025). I am Adjunct Professor 1 (C1) of the Department of Collective Health at the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Uberlândia, acting mainly on the following themes: collective health, medical education, gender and sexuality studies in health, queer and health studies, cultural studies and health, performance autoetnography, transvestite / transsexuality, health education LGBTQI + and public policies.

Fui bolsista de Doutorado Sanduíche 2018/2019 pela Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). Sou co-fundador e co-lider do Grupo "Autoetnografia Performática - Corpos e Decolonialidades em Saúde (AP-CODEs)", vinculado ao CNPq e à UNICAMP. Sou co-fundador e membro do Grupo Gestor do Grupo de Trabalho Populações (In)Visibilizadas e Diversidades da Associação Brasileira de Educação Médica (ABEM). Sou membro do Grupo de Trabalho Saúde da População LGBTI+ da Associação Brasileira de Saúde Coletiva (ABRASCO). Estou como Diretor da Regional Minas Gerais da ABEM (2020-2022). Estou como coordenador do Departamento de Saúde Coletiva (DESCO) da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2021-2023). Estou como representante legal / vice diretor da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2021-2025). Sou Professor Adjunto 1 (C1) do Departamento de Saúde Coletiva da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: saúde coletiva, educação médica, estudos de gênero e sexualidade em saúde, estudos queer e saúde, estudos culturais e saúde, autoetnografia performática, travestilidade / transexualidade, ensino em saúde LGBTQI+ e políticas públicas.
