Estevan Linck Lara
I am an MSc. graduate in Electrical Engineering from PUCRS, specializing in the reliability of critical systems. My dissertation, titled 'A Hardware-Based Approach to Guarantee Critical Task Schedulability in TDMA Bus Access of Multi-Core Architecture,' focuses on ensuring the schedulability of critical tasks in multi-core architectures using a hardware approach.
My main contribution to the field is the publication titled 'Impact of Place and Route Strategy on FPGA Electromagnetic Emission,' which was published in the Journal of Microelectronic Reliability. The article can be accessed using the following DOI: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.microrel.2021.114333.
During my studies, I conducted research on the impact of electromagnetic emissions in FPGA-based microelectronics. I focused on the correlation between placement and routing strategies and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in FPGA projects. By optimizing routing density, signal integrity, and power distribution, I successfully reduced electromagnetic interference (EMI) and improved the EMC performance of FPGA prototypes.
