Fábio Azevedo Rodrigues

I graduated with a degree in Geography from the Federal Center for Technological Education in Campos (currently Instituto Federal Fluminense). I carried out research in the area of political geography, investigating the adoption of the participatory budget by the city of Rio das Ostras -RJ, and its institutional design, as a way to generate social capital. After graduating, I dedicated myself to reviewing the literature on social theory of risk, sociology of disasters, risk perception and memory of disasters. I have several courses in the area of protection and civil defense. In the specialization in sociology I carried out a conclusion work in the area of urban sociology. with a focus on the professionalization of physical education, at the interface between urban sociology and the sociology of professions. After settling in Rio Grande do Sul, I concluded other specializations, one in sociology teaching, in which I carried out the analysis of high school textbooks from the perspective of the sociology of disasters. In the MBA in School Management (Esalq/USP) I verified the existence of initiatives and experiences in the promotion of teachers' health. During my master's degree, I researched catastrophes, genocide and holocaust teaching, which resulted in a didactic product (open educational resource) adapted from material at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (UHSMM). It is currently in the process of concluding another research about the implementation of the new secondary education, from the perspective of the territorialization of internationalized curricula, in addition to other personal and academic projects.

Me graduei em licenciatura em Geografia pelo Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Campos (atual Instituto Federal Fluminense). Efetuei pesquisa na área de geografia política, investigando a adoção do orçamento participativo pela prefeitura de Rio das Ostras -RJ, e seu desenho institucional, como forma de gerar capital social. Após formado dediquei-me a revisão de bibliografia sobre teoria social do risco, sociologia dos desastres, percepção de riscos e memória de desastres. Possuo diversos cursos na área de proteção e defesa civil. Na especialização em sociologia efetuei um trabalho de conclusão na área de sociologia urbana. com foco na profissionalização da educação física, na interface da sociologia urbana com a sociologia das profissões. Após me radicar no Rio Grande do Sul, conclui outras especializações, sendo uma em ensino de sociologia, em que realizei a análise dos livros didáticos de ensino médio na perspectiva da sociologia dos desastres. No MBA em Gestão escolar(Esalq/USP) verifiquei a existência de iniciativas e experiências na promoção da saúde dos professores. No mestrado pesquisei sobre catástrofes, genocídios e ensino do holocausto, cujo resultado foi um produto didático (recurso educacional aberto) adaptado do material do Museu Memorial do Holocausto dos Estados Unidos (UHSMM). Atualmente está em fase de conclusão de outra pesquisa acerca da implementação do novo ensino médio, na perspectiva da territorialização de currículos internacionalizados, alem de outros projetos pessoais e acadêmicos.
