I am a Lecturer at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil. I have a Phd (2010) in Human Sciences (Sociology) and a MA (2006) in Sociology Anthropology by UFRJ. At the moment, I am the Director of Sociology at the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Social Sciences (ANPOCS) for the 2023-2024 term. I am also a member of the Political and Social Sciences Academic Committee of the Association of Montevideo Group Universities (AUGM) and the RC30 of the International Sociological Association (ISA), The Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics (SASE), and the Brazilian Sociological Society (SBS). Most of my work is related to Economic Sociology and Sociology of Work, and I have experience with social change, globalization, and economic institutions organizations. Rodrigo Salles Pereira dos Santos é Professor Adjunto do Dpto. de Sociologia e docente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Sociologia Antropologia (PPGSA), Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). É Diretor da ANPOCS (Biênio 2023-2024), integra o CA Ciencias Politicas y Sociales da AUGM e o RC30 da International Sociological Association (ISA), e é membro da Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics (SASE) e da SBS. Atua na subárea da Sociologia Econômica e possui experiência nos temas da mudança social, globalização, instituições e organizações econômicas. Coordena os grupos de pesquisa Desenvolvimento, Trabalho e Ambiente (DTA) e Laboratório de Economia Política da Corporação (LEPoC), e integra o grupo Política, Economia, Mineração, Ambiente e Sociedade (PoEMAS).
