Vitor Augusto Cordeiro Milagres

Engenheiro Florestal, formado pela UFVJM. Mestre em engenharia florestal formado na UFLA. Doutorando em Agronomia na UFG. Atualmente consultor florestal e diretor da empresa Santa Maria Inovações Agroflorestais. Trabalhou como supervisor florestal na A. W. Faber-Castell, responsável pelas áreas de silvicultura, colheita, manutenção de estradas e transporte de madeira. Foi especialista e pesquisador florestal responsável por solos, clima e manejo na Gerdau Florestal. Exerceu o cargo de gerente administrativo-financeiro da Empresa Júnior Arbórea Florestal e desenvolveu o Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso em modelagem florestal para espécies arbóreas com fins econômicos. Foi vice-presidente do Centro Acadêmico de Eng. Florestal (2012-2013). Durante o curso realizou pesquisas nos ramos de proteção florestal (2012-2013) e tecnologia da madeira (2016). Tem experiência internacional, com parte de sua formação na University of Maine, EUA (2014-2015). Apresentou trabalho em Kastamonu, Turquia no Simpósio Internacional de Engenharia Florestal (2016). Fez dois estágios, sendo eles na EMBRAPA Cerrados (2015) e na University of Florida, EUA (2014), trabalhando nas áreas de Restauração ecológica e silvicultura, respectivamente. Participou em 2017 do Programa de Preparação de Gestores Florestais (IPEF).

Forest Engineer graduated at UFVJM. Attending Master?s Degree in Soils and Plant Nutrition, and work at Geotechnology in Soil Science Group, ESALQ / USP. He held the position of administrative and financial manager of the Arbórea Florestal Junior Company and developed the Course Completion Work entitled Potential distribution modeling of useful Brazilian trees with economic importance. He was vice-president of the Academic Center of Forest Engagement (2012-2013 During the course carried out research in the areas of forest protection (2012-2013) and wood technology (2016). He has international experience, with part of his training at the University of Maine, USA (2014-2015). He recently presented work in Kastamonu, Turkey at the International Symposium on Forest Engineering (2016). He did two internships, at EMBRAPA Cerrados (2015) and at the University of Florida, USA (2014), working in the areas of Ecological Restoration and Silviculture, respectively. Participated in 2017 of the Program of Preparation of Forest Managers.
