Historiador, atualmente é pesquisador de pós-doutorado no Centro de Estudos da América Latina e Caribe (CERLAC) da York University (Canadá). Possui mestrado em história diplomática dos Estados Unidos pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul e doutorado em história econômica da América Latina pela Georgetown University (EUA). Atuação profissional: Pesquisador e Teaching Assistant na York University desde janeiro de 2020.
Atuou como Market Analyst da empresa Sarria Research (Reino Unido) entre outubro de 2017 e maio de 2019. Foi também Teaching Assistant na Georgetown University entre 2012 e 2016. No Brasil possui passagens como Professor Horista no Departamento de História da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul entre agosto de 2016 e agosto de 2017, e também como Professor Substituto no curso de Relações Internacionais da UNIVATES (Lajeado - RS).
Temáticas de pesquisa: atualmente está focado em pesquisas referentes à história econômica e ambiental da América Latina nos séculos 19 e 20. Entre outros temas de interesse estão a história global, história política anglo-americana e história das relações internacionais. Trabalhos recentes: Publicou a obra "Era de Trump" (EDIPUCRS 2020) sobre a história do conservadorismo estadunidense e publicou o artigo "O Plano Real visto de fora: Uma análise da imprensa econômica anglo-americana sobre a estabilização econômica do Brasil" na revista Estudos Ibero-Americanos da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS/2020)
Historian, Bruno is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CERLAC) at York University (Canada). He holds a master's degree in diplomatic history from the United States by the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul and a doctorate in economic history from Latin America by Georgetown University (USA).
Professional CV : Researcher and Teaching Assistant at York University since January 2020. Worked as Market Analyst at Sarria Research (United Kingdom) between October 2017 and May 2019. He was also Teaching Assistant at Georgetown University between 2012 and 2016. In Brazil he has worked as an Adjunct Professor in the History Department of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul between August 2016 and August 2017, and also as a Substitute Professor in the International Relations course at UNIVATES (Lajeado - RS).
Research themes: it is currently focused on research relating to the economic and environmental history of Latin America in the 19th and 20th centuries. Among other topics of interest are global history, Anglo-American political history and the history of international relations. Recent publications: Published the work "Era de Trump" (EDIPUCRS 2020) on the history of American conservatism and published the article "The Real Plan seen from the outside: An analysis of the Anglo-American economic press on the economic stabilization of Brazil" in the magazine Ibero-American Studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS / 2020)
