NormaRaisa Furet Bridon
A PhD in Physics from Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas (Cuba, 1990) and University of Moscow, `Lomonosov´. She has experience in Physic, focusing on and experimental Physic and Nuclear Structure. She is a Mossbauer spectroscopy specialist. She works in scientific research related to applications of nuclear techniques in various fields of knowledge such as: Agriculture, Geology, Medicine, Cures (natural resources) and Environment, Nanosciences, Cuba. She has been worked with the applications of nuclear and analytical techniques, mainly Mossbauer spectroscopy and others like ICP, XRD, etc. in the study of sediments, soils, minerals, thermal natural resources, metal, etc.., using physical methods and mathematical processing of experimental data. She has also worked in the field of soil physics in the problem of "Iron chlorosis" in plants grown on calcareous soils in Spain, Chile and Cuba. She has conducted research in simulation of the dispersion of air pollutants and their influence on the products of corrosion of metals exposed to atmospheres rural, marine and industrial using computer programs. She has worked on the study of indicators of sustainable development in rural communities, related to the study of thermal natural resources characterization by physical methods and quality of life. Currently, she studies the super paramagnetic relaxation solid nanoparticles by Mössbauer spectroscopy and characterization of nanostructured materials with medical applications.
