Maria Carolina da Silva Araujo

Master in Letters - Language Studies, Federal University of Ouro Preto. With the guidance of Professor Dr. Kassandra Muniz (DELET-UFOP), she developed the research: "Pixo: authors, identities, speeches, performances.", As a CAPES Fellow. She was a teacher of the state education network during the years 2016 and 2018; as well as being a substitute teacher of DEET-UFOP, between 2016 and 2017, teaching in the EAD modality the discipline Practices of Reading and Production of Texts. She graduated in Letters, graduated in Portuguese Language, when she had the opportunity to participate as a scholarship holder in several projects: Pibid Afro; Pro-active (UFOP) and the project Maracatu DEMUS (Music Department of UFOP) .. Still in the Graduation was a scholarship (PIP) of the Scientific Initiation named: LANGUAGE, IDENTITIES AND AFRO CULTURAL GROUP OF MINAS GERAIS: THE PROBLEM OF THE APPOINTMENT. The CI was guided by the teacher Dr. Kassandra Muniz (DELET-UFOP) He is currently studying for a postgraduate degree in music and interdisciplinarity at DEMUS / UFOP with the research "Identity politics of race, gender and sexuality in the musical performance of the Maracatrupe group", guided by Professor Edilson Lima (DEMUS-UFOP). Professionally she has developed activities by the troupe FincaPé of theater and the research group Maracatrupe - Maracatu and other black Brazilian dances, of which she is co-founder and coordinator. For the Troupe, since 2007 he has developed free or popular activities for the population of Ouro Preto de Maracatu and other black dances. Through Maracatrupe, he has promoted weekly open rehearsals in the House of the Opera and in the House of Culture of Padre Faria, seeking to establish closer ties with the community of Congado and Moçambiue of the municipality. In 2017 he founded the Headquarters of the Troupe in Santo Antônio do Leite, where some Maracatrupe trials are held. The headquarters also functions as a school of music and other arts, and serves part of the local population.

Mestre em Letras - Estudos da Linguagem, pela Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, como bolsista CAPES. Pós graduanda em Psicanálise Clínica, modalidade EAD. Graduou-se em Letras, Licenciada em Língua Portuguesa. Atualmente é membro suplente do CACS-FUNDEB de Ouro Preto -MG; Coordenadora da Ação de Extensão "Agenda de enfrentamento ao COVID-19", no ano de 2021; Professora substituta de Língua Portuguesa do IF entre os anos 2019 a 2021; Especialista em Música e interdisciplinaridades no DEMUS-UFOP, professora da rede estadual de educação durante os anos de 2016 e 2018; bem como foi professora substituta do DEETE-UFOP, entre 2016 e 2017, ministrando, na modalidade EAD, a disciplina Práticas de Leitura e Produção de Textos. Graduou-se em Letras, Licenciada em Língua Portuguesa, quando teve oportunidade de participar enquanto bolsista em diversos projetos: Pibid Afro; Pró-ativa (Dep. de Letras - UFOP) e o projeto Maracatu DEMUS (Dep. de Música da UFOP).. Ainda na Graduação foi bolsista (PIP) da Iniciação Científica nomeada: LINGUAGEM, IDENTIDADES E GRUPO AFRO CULTURAIS DE MINAS GERAIS: A PROBLEMÁTICA DA NOMEAÇÃO. A IC teve como orientadora a professora Doutora Kassandra Muniz (DELET-UFOP) . Profissionalmente tem desenvolvido atividades pela trupe FincaPé de teatro e do grupo de pesquisa Maracatrupe - Maracatu e outras danças negro brasileiras, dos quais é co-fundadora e coordenadora. Pela Trupe, desenvolveu desde 2007 atividades gratuitas ou a preços populares à população de Ouro Preto de Maracatu e outras danças negras. Pelo Maracatrupe, tem promovido ensaios abertos semanais na Casa da Ópera e na Casa de Cultura do Padre Faria, buscando estabelecer maiores laços com a comunidade do Congado e do Moçambiue do município. Em 2017 fundou a Sede da Trupe em Santo Antônio do Leite, onde são realizados alguns ensaios do Maracatrupe.
