Dora Maria Ramos Fonseca

Dora Maria Ramos Fonseca has a PhD in Educational Sciences and a post-doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Aveiro. She is an integrated researcher at the Research Center "Didactics and Technology in the Training of Trainers" (CIDTFF) and Assistant Professor in the Department of Education and Psychology. In terms of research, in the field of Educational Policies and Educational Administration, She has been developing studies (in Portugal and in Brazil) within the scope of the processes of decentralization of education, of organizational assessment and of educational regulations between the central Powers / Local power (s), issues on which it has published nationally and internationally (book chapters, articles in national and international magazines, minutes of congresses and others). She is a reviewer / evaluator of several national and international magazines. She has participated in organizational and scientific commissions, as well as a guest speaker, in events in the area of Educational Administration. At the University of Aveiro, he teaches course units in the area of Educational Policies and Educational Administration in undergraduate, master and doctoral courses. Namely: Sociology of Educational Organizations, Assessment and Quality in Education, Administration and Educational Policies, School Management, Organization and School Management, and Education and Contemporary. It develops activity of orientation to students in the development of master's dissertations and doctoral theses in the area of Educational Policies and Administration and has integrated juries of master's and doctoral degrees in the same areas, in several universities. She is coordinator of the Council for Quality and Evaluation of the Department of Education and Psychology at the University of Aveiro. It has also developed university extension activities within the scope of Educational Policies, in conjunction with the Municipalities and with the non-grouped School / Schools Groupings (Internal evaluation and development of Educational Letters). SHe is currently a member of the General Council of the Esgueira School Group as a member of the community / AU. Member of the management bodies of the Portuguese Forum on Educational Administration.
