Melaine Cristina de Oliveira
Doutora em Estatistica pela Florida State University (2018), possui Mestrado em Bioestatistica pela FSU (2016) e Mestrado em Estatistica pela USP (2014) e graduação em Estatística pelo IME da Universidade de São Paulo (2008). Atua em diversas areas do conhecimento, utilizando a Estatistica para criar metodos relevantes e aplicados fazendo colaboracao multidisciplinar com pesquisadores de ponta. No pos-doutorado, criou ferramentas para aprimoramento de identificacao de composicao quimica de misturas complexas no Ion Cyclotron Resonance Department do National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, na Florida, em projetos com os maiores pesquisadores em espectrometria de massa do mundo. Previamente (2006-2013), desenvolveu solucoes para business intelligence & analytics para empresas de varios setores, colaborou em pesquisas clinicas no Instituto de Psiquiatria da FMUSP, utilizando Modelos Lineares, Estatistica Bayesiana, Redes Complexas, MCMC e Fundamentos de Estatistica como principais ferramentas.
PhD in Statistics from Florida State University (2018), has a master's degree in Biostatistics from FSU (2016) and a master's degree in Statistics from University of Sao Paulo (2014) and also a bachelor's degree in Statistics from University of Sao Paulo (2008). Melaine has projects in several fields, using Statistics to create novel methods, collaborating with multidisciplinary team of high skilled researchers. On her postdoctorate, she created tools to enhance identification of chemical composition of complex mixtures at the Ion Cyclotron Resonance Department on the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory at Florida State University, developing projects with the best mass spectrometry researchers in the world. Previously (2006-2013), Melaine developed solutions for Business Intelligence & Analytics of big companies in several fields and collaborated in clinical research at the Psychiatrics' Institute of College of Medicine of University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, applying linear models, Bayesian statistics, complex networks, MCMC and statistical foundations as her main tools.
