He did a PhD at the Hochschule für Philosophie in Munich (2010) and a postdoc at the Federal University of Piauí (2014). He did a master's degree in Philosophy at the Pontificia Università Gregoriana-Roma (2005). He works in the following areas: Metaphysics, Ethics and Philosophy of Mind. He was Rector of the Interdiocesan Seminary S.C. of Jesus (2011-2017), Coordinator of the Philosophy Department at the Catholic Institute of Higher Studies in Piauí (ICESPI, 2010-2015), Permanent Professor of the Master in Ethics and Epistemology at UFPI (2013-2018) and full member of the Piauí State Education Council (CEE-PI, 2013-2017). He is currently Spiritual Director of the Pontificio Collegio Pio Brasileiro and Professor at the Pontificia Università Gregoriana in Rome.

Atualmente é Diretor Espiritual do Pontifício Colégio Pio Brasileiro e Professor da Pontificia Università Gregoriana em Roma.
