Valter Zanela Tani

Graduated in Business Administration from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), in 1983, Master in Production Engineering from UFSC, in 1998, and PhD in Production Engineering from UFSC, in 2003. Currently, he is the transport planning manager at Foundation for Research Support and University Extension - FAPEU. He was a member of the International Society for Weighing in Motion (ISWIM), until May 2019. Member of the Committee on Critical Transport Infrastructure Protection-ABR10, of the Transport Research Council-TRB. He acts as Technical Coordinator of the UFSC Transport and Logistics Laboratory, Technical Coordinator of the TC.497 / 2012 Cooperation Agreement, signed between the UFSC Transport and Logistics Laboratory (LabTrans), and the National Infrastructure Transport Department of ( DNIT) and Technical Coordinator of the iRAP Center of Excellence in Brazil.

Possui graduação em Administração pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), em 1983, mestrado em Engenharia de Produção pela UFSC, em 1998, e doutorado em Engenharia de Produção também pela UFSC, em 2003. Atualmente, é gerente de planejamento de transportes da Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa e Extensão Universitária - FAPEU. Foi membro da Sociedade Internacional de Pesagem em Movimento (ISWIM), até maio de 2019. Membro do Comitê em Proteção da Infraestrutura Crítica de Transporte - ABR10, do Conselho de Pesquisa em Transporte - TRB. Atua como Coordenador Técnico do Laboratório de Transportes e Logística da UFSC, Coordenador Técnico do Termo de Cooperação TC.497/2012, firmado entre o Laboratório de Transportes e Logística (LabTrans), da UFSC, e o Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (DNIT) e Coordenador Técnico do Centro de Excelência do iRAP no Brasil.
