Melissa de Oliveira Melchior

Possui graduação em Fonoaudiologia pela Faculdade de Odontologia de Bauru/USP (1998), Aperfeiçoamento em Deformidades Dentofaciais e Respiração Oral pela Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto/USP (2005), especialização em Motricidade Orofacial pelo Conselho Federal de Fonoaudiologia (2004), mestrado em Ciências Médicas pela Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto/USP (2008) e formação de Instrutora em Mindfulness pela MTI-Mindfulness Training International (2018). Atualmente é fonoaudióloga da Faculdade de Odontologia de Ribeirão Preto/Universidade de São Paulo; Praticante de Mindfulness, é instrutora do Centro de Mindfulness e Terapias Integrativas da Escola de Enfermagem de Ribeirão Preto/USP; Doutoranda em Ciências, na área de Saúde mental pelo departamento de enfermagem psiquiátrica da Escola de Enfermagem de Ribeirão Preto-USP desde fevereiro de 2019. Tem experiência na área de Fonoaudiologia com ênfase em Motricidade Orofacial, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: sistema estomatognático, hábitos orais, terapia fonoaudiológica miofuncional orofacial, dor orofacial, disfunção temporomandibular e mindfulness. Praticante de ciclismo e corridas curtas de rua. Casada e tem 2 filhos.

She has a degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy from the Faculty of Dentistry of Bauru / USP (1998), Specialization in Orofacial Motricity by the Federal Council of Speech and Hearing Therapy (2004), Practice course in Dentofacial Deformities and Oral Respiration by the Ribeirão Preto Medical School / USP. Master's Degree in Medical Sciences from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School / USP (2008) and training of Mindfulness Instructor by MTI-Mindfulness Training International (2018). She is currently a speech therapist at the Ribeirão Preto School of Dentistry / USP and Mindfulness Instructor at the Center for Mindfulness and Integrative Therapies at the Ribeirão Preto School of Nursing / USP. She has experience in Speech Therapy with emphasis on Orofacial Motricity, working mainly on the following topics: stomatognathic system, oral habits, orofacial myofunctional speech therapy, orofacial pain, temporomandibular dysfunction and mindfulness.
