Aline Rafaella Sena Pinto

Doutoranda em Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Trópico Úmido pelo Núcleo de Altos Estudos Amazônicos (NAEA), da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), com pesquisa focada nos impactos das plantações de soja e da infraestrutura de transporte de soja em áreas protegidas, povos e territórios na região do Rio Tapajós/BR-163, no oeste do estado do Pará. Esta pesquisa também faz parte do projeto internacional "Environmental Policy Instruments across Commodity Chains (EPICC) - Multilevel governance for Biodiversity-Climate in Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia", sediado no Institute of Development Policy (IOB), na Universidade de Antuérpia, na Bélgica.Áreas de interesse para pesquisa: Políticas socioambientais e climáticas na Amazónia brasileira.
Im a PhD student in the Sustainable Development of the Humid Tropic Graduate Program (PPGDSTU Portuguese acronym), from the Center for Advanced Amazon Studies (NAEA Portuguese acronym), from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA Portuguese acronym), in Belém, Brazil. I have a Degree in International Relations and a Masters degree in Political Sciences, and my areas of research are socio-environmental and climate policies in the Brazilian Amazon. My PhD research is focused on the impacts of soybean plantations and soybean transportation infrastructure on protected areas, peoples, and territories in the Tapajós River/BR-163 highway region, in the west of Pará state. This research is also part of the the international project "Environmental Policy Instruments across Commodity Chains (EPICC) - Multilevel governance for Biodiversity-Climate in Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia", based at the IOB, at the University of Antwerp.
