He holds a medical degree from the University of Caxias do Sul (1977), a Master's and Doctorate in Child and Adolescent Health from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. AAAAI Fellow and Member of EEACI, ACAAI, ERS, ASBAI and SBP. Supervisor of the Medical Residency Program in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, Federal University of Southern Frontier (UFFS). Professor Department of Pediatrics University of Passo Fundo (UPF). Guest Professor, Federal University of Southern Border (UFFS). Member of the National Scientific Committee on Allergy and Immunology of the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics (SBP) and the Committee on Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology of the SPRS. Coordinator of the Pediatric Department of the Southern Institute (IMED). Professor of Immunology at the Meriodional Institute (IMED). Principal Investigator (PI) of the ISAAC project Passo Fundo region. Principal Investigator (PI) of the Global Asthma Network (GAN) project in the Passo Fundo region. He has experience in Medicine, with emphasis in Pediatrics, working mainly in the following subjects: children, epidemiology, allergy, atopy, eczema, primary immunodeficiencies.
