Alexandre Meireles Borba

Graduated in Dentistry from the University of Cuiabá (2002), residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology at the University Hospital of the University of São Paulo (HU-USP), Master's Degree in Dentistry from the USP School of Dentistry (2009), Doctorate and Post-Doctorate in Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry of USP (2013 and 2017, respectively). Dr. Borba currently works as Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Hospital Municipal de Cuiabá, as Staff of the residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital Geral de Cuiabá, and as Research Coordinator(Masters and Doctorate program) in Integrated Dental Sciences at the University of Cuiabá - UNIC. He has experience in the field of Dentistry, with an emphasis on Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology, working mainly on the following topics: orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial traumatology, oral diagnosis, stomatology, oral pathology and dentistry for patients with special needs.

Possui graduação em Odontologia pela Universidade de Cuiabá (2002), residência em Cirurgia e Traumatologia Bucomaxilofaciais pelo Hospital Universitário da Universidade de São Paulo (HU-USP), mestrado em Odontologia pela Faculdade de Odontologia da USP (2009), doutorado e pós-doutorado em Odontologia pela Faculdade de Odontologia da USP (2013 e 2017, respectivamente). Atualmente é plantonista cirurgião bucomaxilofacial do Hospital Municipal de Cuiabá, preceptor da residência em Cirurgia e Traumatologia Bucomaxilofaciais do Hospital Geral de Cuiabá, e Coordenador do programa Stricto Sensu de Mestrado e Doutorado em Ciências Odontológicas Integradas da Universidade de Cuiabá - UNIC. Tem experiência na área de Odontologia, com ênfase em Cirurgia e Traumatologia Bucomaxilofaciais, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: cirurgia ortognática, traumatologia bucomaxilofacial, diagnóstico bucal, estomatologia, patologia bucal e odontologia para pacientes com necessidades especiais.
