Francelino Augusto Rodrigues Junior

bachelor's on Agricultural Engineering at State University of Paraná (2005), master's on Precision Agriculture at Federal University of Viçosa (2008) and PhD on Precision Agriculture at University of Campinas (2012). Has experience in Agricultural Engineering, focusing on Precision Agriculture and Remote Sensing, acting on the following subjects: Digital Image Processing, geostatistics analysis, modelling analysis, multivariate statistics and on-the-go survey sensors for soil and plants. It worked as a post-doc in the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center - CIMMYT - being a team member of the Biometrics and Statistical Unit - Mexico/DF, supporting and creating research projects in Precision Agriculture and Remote Sensing. Currently is Associate Scientist from the Global Conservation Ag Program at the same institution, leading researches in Precision Ag and Remote Sensing across Mexico, Africa and South Asia.

possui graduação em Engenharia Agricola pela Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (2006), mestrado pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2008) e doutorado pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2012). Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Agrícola, com ênfase em Máquinas e Implementos Agrícolas, atuando principalmente na linha de Agricultura de Precisão e Sensoriamento Remoto, tendo foco em processamento digital de imagens, análises geoestatísticas, modelagem e análises de dados, estatística multivariada e inspeções de planta e solo com sensores on-the-go. Atuou como pos-doc no "International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center - CIMMYT" - Biometrics and Statistical Unit - México/DF, participando/executando e criando projetos de pesquisas em Agricultura de Precisão e Sensoriamento Remoto. Atualmente é Cientista Associado do Programa Global de Agricultura de Conservação (GCAP) da mesma instituição, sendo responsável por pesquisas na área de Agricultura de Precisão e Sensoriamento Remoto aplicadas no México, África e Sul da Ásia.
