Joára Cronemberger Ribeiro Silva

Architect and Urbanist from the University of Brasília (1990). Master (2007) and PhD in Architecture and Construction by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid - UPM (2015), with international research internship at the German university Bergische Universität Wuppertal (2012), with grants from the Alban Foundation and UPM. Authorship of numerous architecture and urbanism projects carried out in partnership at the office Zimbres Arquitetos Associados (1996-2004), highlighting the winners of the Ex-Aequo Grand Prize for Architecture at the 4th São Paulo International Architecture Biennial (1999) and 1st place in the National Public Tender for Drafts for the CREA / DF Headquarters (1996). Researcher at Grupo TISE (Innovative Technologies and Sostenibles en la Edificación) at Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM-UPM), with an emphasis on designing innovative solutions for constructive improvement and energy conservation and integration of photovoltaic systems in buildings (BIPV - Building Integration of Photovoltaics), from 2006 to 2012, in Spain. Collaborated as a researcher in the project Multielement II - Improvement of Technical and Legal Framework for PV Façade Components at the Fraunhofer Institute (2013-2014), in Germany. Worked in the architecture coordination of the UPM Team at the Solar Decathlon international university competition (3rd place in Architecture and 1st place in Energy Efficiency Awards), held in Washington, USA (2005-2007) and later as Project Coordinating Manager of the international university competition "Solar Decathlon Europe ", held in Madrid, Spain (2008-2010). Currently teaching in the Department of Design, Expression and Representation at FAU-UnB, and coordinating the Internationalization Commission. Vice-coordinator of the Laboratory for Environmental Control and Energy Efficiency (LACAM), also conducting researches with the research group on Computational Simulation in the Built Environment (SiCAC) on the following themes: energy efficiency and sustainability strategies in buildings and integration of photovoltaic systems in buildings.

Arquiteta e Urbanista pela Universidade de Brasília (1990). Mestre (2007) e Doutora em Arquitetura e Construção pela Universidad Politécnica de Madrid - UPM (2015), com estágio internacional de pesquisa na universidade alemã Bergische Universität Wuppertal (2012), com bolsas da Fundação Alban e da UPM. É docente do Departamento de Projeto, Expressão e Representação da Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de Brasília, e atua também no Programa de Pós-Graduação PPG-FAU, onde é Coordenadora da linha de pesquisa Sustentabilidade, Qualidade e Eficiência do Ambiente Construído. Vice-coordenadora do Laboratório de Controle Ambiental e Eficiência Energética (LACAM-UnB), desenvolve pesquisas com os grupos de pesquisa Qualidade ambiental, iluminação e eficiência energética no espaço e em Simulação Computacional no Ambiente Construído (SiCAC) nos seguintes temas: estratégias de eficiência energética e sustentabilidade em edifícios e integração de sistemas fotovoltaicos em edificações. É autora de numerosos projetos de arquitetura e urbanismo realizados em sociedade no escritório Zimbres Arquitetos Associados (1996-2004), destacando os premiados pelo Grande Prêmio Ex-Aequo de Arquitetura da 4 Bienal Internacional de Arquitetura de São Paulo (1999) e 1 lugar no Concurso Público Nacional de Anteprojetos para a Sede do CREA/DF (1996). Foi pesquisadora do Grupo TISE (Tecnologias Inovadoras y Sostenibles en la Edificación) da Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitetura de Madrid (ETSAM-UPM), com ênfase no desenho de soluções inovadoras para a melhora construtiva e conservação de energia e integração de sistemas fotovoltaicos em edificações (BIPV - Building Integration of Photovoltaics), de 2006 a 2012, na Espanha. Colaborou como pesquisadora no projeto Multielement II - Improvement of Technical and Legal Framework for PV Façade Components no Instituto Fraunhofer (2013-2014), na Alemanha. Atuou na coordenação de arquitetura da Equipe UPM na competição internacional universitária Solar Decathlon (Prêmios 3 lugar em Arquitetura e 1 lugar em Eficiência Energética), realizada em Washington, EUA (2005-2007) e posteriormente como Project Coordinating Manager do concurso internacional universitário "Solar Decathlon Europe", realizado em Madri, Espanha (2008-2010).
