Lucas Machado dos Santos

Historiador, Doutor em História Social da Cultura pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro PUC RIO, foi bolsista CAPES, tendo sido orientado pelo Prof. Dr. Marco Antonio Vilela Pamplona.Trabalhou como Visiting Research Scholar na CUNY ( 2017 - The City University of New York), tendo realizado pesquisa em colaboração com o departamento de História da CUNY - Graduate Center, e o departamento de Literatura Luso-Hispano-Americana da mesma Universidade. Possui mestrado em História Social pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2013) tendo sido bolsista CAPES, foi orientado pelo Prof. Dr. Luis Fernando Vale Castro. Se formou bacharel e licenciado em História pela mesma universidade. Tem experiência na área de História, com ênfase em História Contemporânea, séculos XIX e XX, História das Américas, História Agrária e Educação, História Intelectual e das Ideias. Pesquisador vinculado ao PEA (Programa de Estudos Americanos) da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro e ao grupo de pesquisa História Atlântica e História Hemisférica no estudo da circulação de ações e saberes entre os povos das Américas, da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, além do grupo Construção da cidadania na América Latina: perspectivas históricas e desafios contemporâneos, da mesma universidade.Atuou como professor do Colégio de Aplicação da Universidade Católica de Petrópolis, tendo supervisionado o estagio docente de alunos de graduação do curso de Licenciatura em História da Universidade Católica de Petrópolis. Atualmente, atua na rede pública do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.

Historian, PhD in Social History of Culture from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC RIO), he was a CAPES fellow, having been supervised by Prof. Dr. Marco Antonio Vilela Pamplona. Worked as Visiting Research Scholar at CUNY (2017 - The City University of New York), having carried out research in collaboration with the History department of CUNY - Graduate Center, and the Luso-Hispanic Literature department from the same University. He holds a master's degree in Social History from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2013) having been a CAPES fellow, he was supervised by Prof. Dr. Luis Fernando Vale Castro. He graduated with a bachelor's degree and a degree in history from the same university. Has experience in History, with an emphasis on Contemporary History, 19th and 20th centuries, History of the Americas, Agrarian History and Education, Intellectual History and Ideas. Researcher linked to the PEA (Program of American Studies) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and to the research group Atlantic History and Hemispheric History in the study of the circulation of actions and knowledge among the peoples of the Americas, from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, in addition to the group Citizenship Construction in Latin America: historical perspectives and contemporary challenges, from the same university. He served as a professor at the Catholic University of Petrópolis Application College, having supervised the teaching internship of undergraduate students in the History course at the Catholic University of Petrópolis.
