Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biochemistry. Experienced in cell culture, chromatography (TLC and HPLC), immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, microscopy (optical and confocal), molecular biology (Western Blotting and transfection) and radioactive and fluorescent labeled compounds to study leukocyte lipid metabolism (fatty acids and cholesterol) and function. These techniques were used on obtaining Masters, PhD and Post-Doctoral degrees from the University of São Paulo (USP) Brazil and Catholic University of Nijmegen - Netherlands. The methodologies used are described in papers and books and have been presented in seminars, lectures and courses. Author of the book How to Cultivate Cells (Como cultivar células) published in May 2005 (Editora Guanabara Koogan). Currently responsible for the Technical-Scientific Support sector at Farmoterápica; develops sterile formulations (parental nutrition, dialytic, cryopreservative and anti-neoplastic chemotherapy solutions), supervises academic scientific research at the USP, elaborates technical-scientific content and postings for the company s home-page, develops and maintains the web-based parental nutrition and prescriptions software and elaborates and delivers training programs for physicians, nurses, pharmacists and nutritionists.

Pós-Doutorado, Doutorado e Mestrado em Fisiologia (ICB/USP e Univ. Católica Nijmegen, Holanda) sobre metabolismo lipídico, ácidos graxos e função de leucócitos. Farmacêutica e Bioquímica (USP). Especialista pela Soc. Bras. Nutrição Parenteral e Enteral e curso pela European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism. Experiência com cultura de células, cromatografia, imuno-histoquímica, citometria de fluxo, microscopia, biologia molecular, radioatividade, fluorescentes e análise de tamanho de partículas. Responsável por Suporte Técnico Científico, treinamento interno e de clientes, desenvolvimento de software para prescrição de nutrição parenteral e análise de viabilidade de quimioterápicos antineoplásicos, soluções de diálise e crioprotetoras. Pesquisadora responsável por projeto PIPE-Fapesp (Pesquisa Inovativa da Pequena Empresa) sobre a estabilidade de emulsões lipídicas (análise de tamanho de partículas).Editora do livro Como cultivar células (Guanabara Koogan) e autora de artigos em livros e revistas.
