Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo discutir e acompanhar processos de produção de feminilidades em contextos de privação de liberdade voltados para mulheres e meninas. A partir de entrevistas individuais e/ou em grupo com mulheres adultas e jovens cumprindo pena privativa de liberdade/medida socioeducativa de internação, profissionais das equipes técnicas e das direções e agentes penitenciárias(os) e socioeducativas(os) em uma unidade prisional e em uma unidade socioeducativa do Rio de Janeiro buscou-se traçar as múltiplas e heterogêneas possibilidades de performar feminilidades tanto no mundo do crime especialmente no tráfico de drogas, tipificação que mais encarcera mulheres e meninas no Brasil quanto nos mundos da prisão e do sistema socioeducativo. Escavando naquilo que se inscreve/se oferece como as origens das prisões e unidades socioeducativas femininas, esta pesquisa buscou investigar as continuidades e rupturas nas práticas e discursos que justificavam a existência destas instituições, encontrando nas críticas de teóricas feministas subsídios para uma leitura crítica a respeito das instituições de privação de liberdade. A partir da Cartografia e dos conceitos de dobra, de Gilles Deleuze, de máscaras, de Suely Rolnik e de performatividade de gênero de Judith Butler, e partindo de uma perspectiva que pensa a privação de liberdade como dispositivo produtor de subjetividades, investigou-se a pluralidade de arranjos, forças, fluxos, tensões e movimentos que produzem feminilidades nestes contextos, tentando acompanhar estes processos de produção e examinando como o gênero, o tempo e o espaço produzem atravessamentos que tomam contornos específicos quando em face de dispositivos de controle como a prisão e o socioeducativo. Para tanto, elencou-se alguns analisadores como a visita familiar, a visita íntima e o trabalho para perscrutar as linhas e as forças que se cruzam, dobram e desdobram de modo a criar diferentes modos de existência e dinâmicas institucionais que, pautadas nestas dobras de gênero, espacial e temporal, fazem aparecer mecanismos, jogos de poder, moralidades e estratégias que circulam pelos corredores da prisão e das unidades socioeducativas para mulheres e meninas
This research intends to discuss and follow the processes that produce femininities in contexts of deprivation of freedom for women and girls. We carried out individual interviews and groups with young and adult women deprived of freedom, professionals from the technical and direction teams and guards in a women s penitentiary and a juvenile facility that admits girls in conflict with the law, both in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Our objective was to investigate the multiple and heterogeneous ways to perform femininities in crime and in prison/reformatories. Looking at what is presented as the origins of women s prison and juvenile detention centers, this research investigates what continues the same and what has changed in the discourses that justify the need for these institutions, bringing the contributions of feminist authors to build a critical approach to understand these contexts of freedom deprivation. The cartographic method, the concepts of fold forged by Gilles Deleuze, of masks as proposed by Suely Rolnik and gender performative acts introduced by Judith Butler, as well as the understanding of deprivation of freedom as a mechanism that produces subjectivities were used as tools to investigate the multiple arrangements, forces, flows, tensions and movements that produce femininities in these contexts. The focus was on the processes themselves and how gender, time and space interact in specific ways when we think about their mechanisms in freedom deprivation institutions. Finally, we selected a few analyzers such as family visitations, intimate visitations and work to follow the forces that intercross, fold and unfold themselves in order to create different ways of existing and also institutional dynamics that show the games of power, the moralities and the strategies that circulate the hallways of prison and juvenile centers for women and girls
