Este trabalho analisa as origens e os desdobramentos dos conceitos de natureza e de revolução no pensamento de Herbert Marcuse. Como a origem se encontra, prioritariamente, no pensamento de Freud e de Marx, me dediquei nos dois primeiros capítulos a este estudo, na fonte. Porém, como os conceitos de natureza e de revolução não podem ser pensados sem a influência de grande parte da filosofia ocidental, os dois últimos capítulos trazem à tona algumas das principais críticas recebidas, bem como o nexo de tais conceitos à luz da ideia de uma nova racionalidade.
This work analyses the origins and the unfolding of the concepts of nature and revolution in Herbert Marcuse’s thought. As this origin lies, first and foremost, in the thought of Freud and Marx, I devoted myself in the first two chapters to this study, at the source. However, since the concepts of nature and revolution can not be thought without the influence of much of Western philosophy, the last two chapters bring to light some of the main criticisms received, as well as the nexus of such concepts in the light of the idea of a new rationality.
