O tema da dissertação é a institucionalização da pesquisa em educação. O objetivo é apresentar os debates e identificar os aspectos quanto ao processo de institucionalização da pesquisa em educação no periódico Revista Brasileira de Estudos Pedagógicos (RBEP). Pergunta-se que discussões estão presentes na RBEP quanto à institucionalização da pesquisa em educação. Trata-se de uma pesquisa composta por textos selecionados no periódico RBEP. A identificação e organização dos debates foram subsidiados pelas análises realizadas por Florestan Fernandes quanto às transformações sociais e suas repercussões nas mais variadas instituições. Os debates na RBEP, quanto à institucionalização da pesquisa educacional, estão circunscritos em dois grupos de discussões. Os debates referem-se à vinculação das instituições de pesquisas educacionais às transformações sociais e quanto ao desenvolvimento da pesquisa em educação e de suas instituições. Ao longo dos debates foram constituídos dois aspectos para entendimento do processo de institucionalização da pesquisa em educação na RBEP e referem-se ao aspecto político-institucional da pesquisa educacional e o aspecto normativo-funcional das instituições de pesquisas educacionais
The theme of the dissertation is the institutionalization of research in education. The objective is to present the debates and to identify the aspects regarding the process of institutionalization of research in education in the Revista Brasileira de Estudos Pedagógicos (RBEP). It is questioned that discussions are present in the RBEP regarding the institutionalization of research in education. It is a research composed by texts selected in the RBEP journal. The identification and organization of the debates were subsidized by the analyzes carried out by Florestan Fernandes regarding the social transformations and their repercussions in the most varied institutions. The debates in RBEP, regarding the institutionalization of educational research, are circumscribed in two groups of discussions. The debates refer to the linking of educational research institutions to social transformations and to the development of research in education and its institutions. During the debates, two aspects were constituted to understand the process of institutionalization of education research in the RBEP and refer to the political-institutional aspect of educational research and the normative-functional aspect of educational research institutions
