A Garden in Floresta articulates art and nature under the aegis of the water element. It is a research that begins inside a studio in Rio de Janeiro and plants a garden in the dry backlands of Pernambuco. It dialogs with the production of other artists, besides expanding concepts such as humidity, landscape and device to other areas of knowledge, such as geography and philosophy. It raises the hypothesis that art establishes a symbiotic relation to nature, thus adding a new paradigm to already settled relations of representation, contemplation and or intervention in nature. This paradigm proposes the interaction between art and nature, which summons, beyond vision, the other senses of the body to inhabit this relation. It also proposes the perception of the body of nature, with its own speech, establishing it as a subject and not just as an object
Um Jardim em Floresta articula arte e natureza sob a égide do elemento água e do conceito de jardim. É uma pesquisa que se inicia dentro de um ateliê de artista no Rio de Janeiro e planta um jardim no sertão de Pernambuco. Dialoga, também, com a produção de outros artistas, além de ampliar conceitos, como umidade, paisagem, dispositivo, para outras áreas do conhecimento, tais quais a geografia e a filosofia. Levanta a hipótese da arte estabelecer uma relação de simbiose com a natureza, acrescentando assim um novo paradigma nas relações já estabelecidas de representação, contemplação e ou intervenção na natureza. Esse paradigma propõe a interação entre arte e natureza, que convoca, além da visão, os outros sentidos do corpo a habitar essa relação. Propõe também a percepção do corpo da natureza, com sua fala própria, firmando-a como sujeito e não mais apenas como objeto
