Como engolir o mar com uma enciclopédia é uma pesquisa de artista que parte de uma produção própria, mas que busca diálogos e o desenvolvimento de questões em campos diversos como a arte, a literatura, a filosofia e a ciência. Audioguias e 200 canudos para engolir o mar [o primeiro uma coletânea de verbetes em áudio iniciada em 2012 e o segundo uma ação realizada em 2010], são os trabalhos que irão geram os dois movimentos enciclopédicos em que se divide esta dissertação: o desejo de abarcamento do todo e o questionamento [ou desmontagem] dos modelos de organização do conhecimento. Para tanto, o trabalho apresenta na primeira e na última parte a produção poética da artista e seus processos estabelecendo conversas com outros autores na primeira as duas criações que deram origem à pesquisa, e na última aquelas que são resultado da motivação de pensar os sistemas de organização hegemônicos e o desejo de produzir um inventário sobre a cidade. A segunda e a terceira parte serão dedicadas aos dois movimentos enciclopédicos mencionados partindo da obra de escritores como Jorge Luis Borges, Samuel Beckett e Alfred Jarry e artistas como Janett Cardiff , Georges Miller, Marcel Duchamp e Milton Machado
How to swallow the sea with an encyclopedia is an artist's research that starts from a production of its own, but which seeks dialogues and the development of questions in diverse fields such as art, literature, philosophy and science. Audioguides and 200 straws to swallow the sea [the first one collection of audio entries initiated in 2012 and the second one carried out in 2010], are the works that will generate the two encyclopedic movements in which this dissertation is divided: the desire to embrace the whole and the questioning [or dismantling] of knowledge organization models. For this, the work presents in the first and last part the poetic production of the artist and its processes establishing conversations with other authors - in the first two creations that gave origin to the research, and in the last ones that are the result of the motivation to think the systems of hegemonic organization and the desire to produce an inventory of the city. The second and third part will be devoted to the two encyclopedic movements mentioned above from the work of writers like Jorge Luis Borges, Samuel Beckett and Alfred Jarry and artists such as Janett Cardiff, Georges Miller, Marcel Duchamp and Milton Machado
