O objeto desta dissertação é a literatura juvenil contemporânea: analisam-se os aspectos artísticos e didáticos presentes neste tipo de literatura a partir da obra de Lygia Bojunga Nunes. Como ponto de partida, realiza-se um breve estudo sobre a obra de arte, construindo um panorama histórico da literatura considerada infantil e juvenil no Brasil. Neste trabalho, também se observam os fatores que podem influenciar os escritores em suas criações literárias para jovens, tais como o sistema educacional do país, o mercado editorial e o perfil do leitor, discutindo-se questões como a necessidade de classificação desta forma de manifestação artística, a prática pedagógica vigente e o papel do leitor no ato da leitura
The object of this disssertation is the contemporary juvenile literature: it analyses the artistics and the didatics aspects found in this field from the work of Lygia Bojunga Nunes. It opens with a brief study on art work, establishing a historical panorama of what is considered to be children and/or juvenile literature in Brazil. On the other hand, are also analysed the factors that may influence the production of the writers working for young readers, such as: Brazilian educational system, the publishing market and the reader s profile, discussing points like the need of classification of this kind of art, the actual trends of pedagogy in Brazil and the reader s participation in the act of reading
