Este trabalho tem como base o resultado de um projeto independente, realizado pelo pesquisador desde maio de 2012. O site Isto não é um cachimbo Perfis Literários (www.istonaoeumcachimbo.com) é voltado à experimentação do formato biográfico breve, por meio do qual foram abordados 12 escritores contemporâneos. Levados à condição de objeto de estudo, os perfis literários são defendidos como uma ferramenta crítica inscrita entre o biográfico, o ficcional e o ensaístico. Diante da problemática do retorno do autor, o pastiche do perfil jornalístico surge como forma renovada de retratar o escritor do novo milênio. Efetiva-se, nesta pesquisa, a representação de seu mito através dos procedimentos de entrevista, leitura da obra e escrita. Para caracterizar esse novo formato, são realizadas análises comparativas entre o manual de perfil jornalístico de Sérgio Villas Boas e os perfis literários. Ademais, um reconhecimento do circuito literário é feito com a ajuda dos estudos de Ítalo Moriconi e Paula Sibila. Leva-se em consideração ainda a insuficiência da função autor concebida por Michel Foucault em conjunto com questões acerca do biográfico trazidas por Philippe Lejeune e Leonor Arfuch. Para complementar a discussão, lança-se mão da sistematização dos perfis literários de Adriana Lisboa e Bernardo Carvalho
The present work is based in the results of an independent project, conducted by the researcher since May of 2012. The website "Isto não é um cachimbo - Perfis Literários" (www.istonaoeumcachimbo.com) is dedicated to the experimentation of the brief biographic format, by which were addressed 12 contemporary writers. As objects of study, the literary profiles are presented as a critical tool included among the biographic, the fictional and the essayistic. Considering the problematic of the return of the author, the pastiche of the journalistic profile emerges as a renewed way of depicting the writer of the new millennium. The representation of its myth takes place In this research through the procedures of the interview, the reading of the literary work and the writing. With the intent of characterizing this new format, comparative analysis were realized between the journalistic profile manual of Sérgio Villas Boas and the literary profiles. Furthermore, an acknowledgment of the literary circuit is accomplished with the support of studies from Ítalo Moriconi and Paula Sibila. It is still taken under consideration the insufficiency of the function of the author conceived by Michel Foucault in addition to the matters concerning the biographic presented by Philippe Lejeune and Leonor Arfuch. In order to add to the discussion, a systemization of the literary profiles of Adriana Lisboa and Bernardo Carvalho is presented
