Por uma literatura do contemporâneo: reflexões sobre a possível relação entre a arte literária e a ideia de contemporaneidade à luz da filosofia de Giorgio Agamben

Este estudo analisa a ideia de contemporaneidade formulada por Giorgio Agamben, estabelecendo diálogos com textos de Friedrich Nietzsche e Walter Benjamin, que exerceram grande influência sobre o pensamento do filósofo italiano. Com o auxílio de Benjamin, a dissertação também reflete sobre a figura de Charles Baudelaire como artista contemporâneo, propondo-se a pensar sobre quais seriam as marcas de uma arte literária que possivelmente estabeleça conexão íntima com a ideia agambeniana de contemporaneidade. Considerando a relação fundamental entre essa ideia e a concepção de progresso na filosofia de Agamben, utiliza, como recorte histórico para escolha do seu corpus literário, o período entre 1964 e 1985, época na qual o Brasil foi governado por um regime militar, chamando atenção para os diversos avanços que comprovadamente ocorreram na sociedade brasileira daquele tempo. Depois, seleciona e analisa contos de Domingos Pellegri, Ignácio Loyola Brandão e Rubem Fonseca, para, observando sobretudo o posicionamento dessas obras em relação aos acontecimentos daquela época, marcada por diversos progressos , verificar se elas atendem à expectativa de uma possível literatura do contemporâneo. Finalmente, depois de verificar a possibilidade dessa forma de literatura e constatar a sua presença no período histórico observado, este estudo oferece abertura para reflexão sobre o papel artístico dessa literatura, isto é, sobre a intervenção que a literatura do contemporâneo faz ou seria capaz de fazer no próprio tempo e sobre a relação que ela mantém com homens de toda e qualquer época, de toda e qualquer civilização justamente pela ligação que pode ser estabelecida entre ela e a ideia de contemporaneidade inicialmente apresentada
This study analyses the idea of contemporary individual, formulated by Giorgio Agamben, starting from his philosophy and establishing dialogues with texts of Friedrich Nietzsche and Walter Benjamin, whose thoughts exerted great influence on the idea presented by the Italian philosopher. With the critical contribuition of Benjamin, it also reflects on Charles Baudelaire as a contemporary artist and proposes to think about what would be the traces of a possible literature of the contemporary a literary art that possibly establishes close connection with the agambenian idea of contemporaneity. Considering the fundamental relation between this idea and the conception of "progress" in the Agamben s philosophy, this study observes, as a historical approach for choice of its literary corpus, the period between 1964 and 1985 a time in which Brazil was governed by a military regime , and draws attention to the many advances that provenly occurred in Brazilian society of that time. After that, it selects and analyses tales of Domingos Pellegri, Ignácio Loyola Brandão and Rubem Fonseca and, noting principally the position of these literary works in relation to the events of that time, marked by several developments, checks if these tales meet the expectation of a possible literature of the contemporary. Finally, after checking the possibility of this form of literature and finding its presence in the observed historical period, this study incites reflections on the artistic role of this form of literature, i. e., about the intervention that a literature of the contemporary would do or would be able to do at its own time and about the relation that it would have with men of any time, in any civilization justly for the connection that can be established between it and the idea of contemporaneity initially presented
