A presente tese lança um olhar sobre algumas propostas dos artistas Artur Barrio e Augusto Boal. Partindo de um pensamento sobre a recepção a determinadas obras, mostra-se que há uma cisão entre dois tipos de receptores os desavisados e a segunda audiência. Então, demonstra-se o quanto esse fenômeno, com algumas variações, está presente na obra de vários artistas. Para abordá-lo, aposta-se na necessidade de discutir e reformular teorias sobre a diferença entre arte e não arte, em especial a proposta por Thierry De Duve acerca do juízo estético. Feita uma leitura crítica dessa teoria, ela é reapresentada, com algumas alterações, e com o suporte de outros autores, principalmente Michel Foucault. Ao fim desse percurso teórico, o problema da cisão na recepção é recolocado, tendo em vista um arsenal crítico mais complexo.

The following thesis approaches some of the Artur Barrio and Augusto Boal's proposals. Considering some questions about reception to artworks; it is exposed a cut between to kinds of receptors the unaware ones and the second audience. After that it is argued that this phenomenon happens in many artists works. In order to approach it, this thesis points to the necessity to discuss and reform some of the theories about the difference between art and non-art, especially the one about the aesthetics judgement, formulated by Thierry de Duve. After a critical reading of this theory, it is rewritten, with some changes and the support of other authors, especially Michel Foucault. In the end of this theorical reflection, the reception's problem is rearticulated, now having more complex concepts to approach it.
