Esta pesquisa busca expor a representação não-hegemônica das drogas no cinema como ato de transgressão. Encara o cinema como media potente na criação de discursos que rompem com a retórica médico-sanitarista e a retórica jurídico-moral, que guiam a discussões do tema na mídia e na sociedade. Busca analisar o lugar da droga na atualidade associada à ilegalidade, periculosidade e violência através de produtos culturais audiovisuais que vão de encontro a esses discursos hegemônicos. Foram analisados três filmes brasileiros: Meteorango Kid herói intergaláctico (1969), de André Luiz Oliveira; Paraísos Artificiais (2012), de Marcos Prado; e A Vizinhança do Tigre (2014), de Affonso Uchoa. Os filmes apresentam olhares diversos, sendo potentes na criação de uma nova compreensão sobre a questão das drogas, que vem sendo amplamente explorada a partir do proibicionismo
This research aims to expose the non-hegemonic representation of drugs in the cinema as an act of transgression. It considers cinema as a powerful media in the creation of discourses that break with the medical-sanitarian and the legal-moral rhetorics, which guide the discussion of this subject in the media and in society. It examines the place of drugs today - in relation to illegality, risks and violence - through audiovisual cultural products that go against these hegemonic discourses. Three brazilian films were analyzed: Meteorango Kid - the intergalactic hero (1969), by André Luiz Oliveira; Artificial Paradises (2012), by Marcos Prado; and The Neighborhood of the Tiger (2014), by Affonso Uchoa. These films show different perspectives emphasizing the creation of a new understanding on the drug issue, that has been widely explored through a prohibitionist paradigm
