A dissertação tem como propósito analisar a presença do narrador em textos que apresentam convenções próprias do jornalismo, mas que também se apresentam como literatura. A pesquisa foi motivada pelos textos da jornalista Eliane Brum, publicados no livro O olho da rua: uma repórter em busca da literatura da vida real. Por ser um dos escritores de maior destaque na escrita que aposta na mistura de jornalismo e literatura, o escritor João Antônio foi considerado, nesta pesquisa, uma espécie de antecedente ilustre . Do autor, escolhemos analisar Um dia no cais e Quem é o dedo duro? , divulgados na extinta revista Realidade, o que permitiu uma comparação entre os modos de narrar dos dois escritores/jornalistas. Foram usados como base teórica Leonor Arfuch, Roland Barthes, Antonio Candido, Norman Friedman, Wolfgang Iser, Silviano Santiago, entre outros. O resultado da pesquisa consiste no processo de hibridização entre jornalismo e literatura, amalgamado pela forte presença do narrador
The purpose of the dissertation is to analyze the presence of the narrator in texts that present conventions of journalism, but which also present themselves as literature. The research was motivated by the texts of journalist Eliane Brum, published in the book O ojo da rua: a reporter in search of real life literature. For being one of the writers of greater prominence in writing that bets on the mixture of journalism and literature, the writer João Antonio was considered, in this research, a kind of "illustrious antecedent". From the author, we chose to analyze "A Day at the Pier" and "Who's the Finger?", Published in the extinct magazine Realidade, which allowed a comparison between the two writers '/ journalists' ways of narrating. As a theoretical basis were used the writings of Leonor Arfuch, Roland Barthes, Antonio Candido, Norman Friedman, Wolfgang Iser, Silviano Santiago, among others. The result of the research consists in the process of hybridization between journalism and literature, amalgamated by the strong presence of the narrator
