Helena Bender

Architect and urban planner (UFRGS, 2012), Master of Architecture (PROPAR-UFRGS, 2014) and Doctor in History, Theory and Criticism of Architecture (PROPAR-UFRGS, 2020). Associate member of the research group Studies in Latin American Modern Architecture (UFRGS, 2011-), and of the Latin American Center Zurich (UZH, 2017-). My research interests are on topics dealing with the history of latin american modern architecture, and the history and theory of the city of modern architecture.

Arquiteta e Urbanista (2012), Mestre em Arquitetura (2014), e Doutora em Arquitetura (2020) pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Professora substituta na Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade Federal da Bahia (FA-UFBA, 2023-). Membro associado do grupo de pesquisa Estudos da arquitetura moderna latino-americana (UFRGS, 2011-) e do Centro Latino-americano de Zurique (UZH, 2017-). Meu interesse de pesquisa se concentra nos tópicos história da arquitetura moderna latino-americana, e história e teoria da cidade da arquitetura moderna.
