Tatiana Marques Pinto

The main active research lines are application of tumor-targeting gold nanoparticles for localized high-dose radiation therapy, and in vivo radiobiology assays for radiobiological effectiveness assess in proton therapy. Scope of interests include radiation therapy, nanomedicine, proton therapy, Monte Carlo simulation and radiobiology. Has completed PhD in Physics Applied to Medicine and Biology at the University of Sao Paulo with sandwich internship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Has received funds from the Nanobiomed Network (2009-2013). Team member of the Krishnan's Lab at MD Anderson in 2012. Has been awarded by the American Association of Physicist in Medicine - AAPM in 2010, and by the Radiological Society of North America - RSNA in 2011. Awarded presentation at the Annual Meeting of SBRT - Brazilian Society of Radiation Oncology in 2008.
