I hold Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2008) and I graduated in Teaching for the same institution. I have the Master of Science with the major in Genetics and Evolution by UFSCAR (2010).
In 2016, I finished my PhD in Biology at KU Leuven (Belgium) at the Laboratory of Socioecology and Social Evolution, and my main topic of research is about chemical ecology on wasps. I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at KU Leuven (2016-2022). Now, I am based at UCL (UK) working with origins of social behavior in solitary wasps funded by Marie Curie fellowship (MSCA-IF).
My main interests are ecology and evolution of social behaviour in social insects, but also population genetics of bees and other social insects.

Possui Licenciatura e Bacharelado em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2008) e Mestrado em Genética e Evolução pela mesma instituição (2010). Atuou como Tutora Presencial no curso de Bacharelado em Engenharia Ambiental (UFSCAR 2011-2012).
Em 2016, concluiu o Doutorado em Biologia na KU Leuven (Laboratory of Socioecology and Social Evolution - Bélgica), com pesquisa relacionada com a identificação de ferormônios relacionados a comunicação em insetos sociais. Após dua defesa, atuou como pós-doutoranda na KU Leuven (2016-2022).
Atualmente está realizando sua pequisa com vespas solitárias na UCL (UK) financiada pela Marie Curie fellowship (MSCA-IF).
Seu interesse está relacionado a ecologia química de vespas, genética e conservação de abelhas e evolução do comportamento social.
